The university offers a very inspiring environment � the studios are well-equipped, and there are plenty of opportunities to experiment with different tools and mediums. Many of the lecturers are passionate about their fields and encourage students to push their creativity further, which really helped me grow. However, I did feel that some modules weren�t as up-to-date as they could be, especially when it comes to newer design software and industry trends. Communication around deadlines and project expectations could also be clearer at times. While the campus facilities are good, access to certain workshops can be limited during busy periods, which makes time management a challenge. Despite these issues, I would still recommend the programme to students who want a solid foundation in design and enjoy working in a creative, collaborative atmosphere. With a bit more structure and updated content, this programme has the potential to be excellent.
The new campus is excellent, it's a very recent building and so it's really modern. Most of the professors are really nice, but sometimes students feel that the teachers downplay the workload that they are given.
IADE Creative University offers abundant career pathways, set against a picturesque campus backdrop and featuring exceptional faculty. The education is demanding but enriching, prompting personal advancement. The environment fosters healthy competition, promoting teamwork and mutual support. It's the optimal choice for me.
Being an off-site student requires you to fully focus on your commitment to school, without have to think about finding a place to stay. IAAD. supports off-site students in the search for housing solutions and/or temporary accommodation, in addition to the university residences option. This service shares contacts and references so that students can find accommodation to match their preferences and others to share housing with.
A physical and virtual library for consulting texts and magazines, a library for digital design, access to the Material Connexion design platform and to textile collections are only some of the services that IAAD. Teche offers its community.
IAAD. Turin is equipped with multimedia laboratories with capacities ranging from 25 to 31 workstations. Each laboratory contains specific hardware and software for the different types of activities taught at the Institute.
IAAD.’s location in Turin, within in a vast repurposed area that was home to a power plant at the end of the 19th century, is the result of a collaboration between public and private entities.
