The University, originally known as Victoria College, was founded in 1897. This was the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Victoria University of Wellington offers an undergraduate education in chemistry which is very well rounded, with a large focus on the practical aspects of the discipline. Four laboratory courses over the second and third years of the degree serve to prepare students for work in a postgraduate laboratory, as well as giving students the chance to actually join a research group for a small resear...

It was a very expensive experience but I did enjoy it overall. I learned a lot but found the university had problems due to NZ being small and lecturers deciding marks on who they liked.
