Housing services

Accommodation is guaranteed to all students on the Trinity Summer Schools once you pay the accommodation-inclusive rate. Accommodation will consist of en suite, single rooms in Trinity College Dublins student residences in the centre of Dublin city. These residences are very safe, and will house the Resident Advisors at night, as well as all students on our summer schools.

Trinity Halls are used by our international and domestic undergraduate students during the academic year. Staying in university residences is a great way to get ahead of the curve and experience what university life is like.

Our Residential Advisors will be living in Trinity Halls as well.

Medical services

It is essential that you are insured before you come to one of our Trinity summer schools. If you do not have health or travel insurance, take a look at some of the below options that are available:

  • Aviva Health
  • VHI Healthcare
  • Laya Healthcare
  • O'Driscoll O'Neil
Students from EU states should apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) in their home country before departure.

Campus life

  • Resident Advisors

At the Trinity summer schools, your safety is very important. As such, each student will be in a group assigned to a fully trained and Garda vetted Resident Advisor.

Our RAs are trained in everything from first aid and fire safety, to how best to deal with homesickness. They themselves have studied at Trinity for at least a year, and will be able to answer any questions you have during your stay. They study a variety of different subjects, and will be able to give you a sense of what studying at Trinity is like.

They will also help to run the social activities that take place at the residences, and are a responsible, out-going, friendly and approachable group of young men and women.

Student clubs

Trinity offers over 200 student societies, clubs, sports and publications, including some of the oldest student societies in the world. Largely due to its city-centre location, Trinity's students are active and valued members of the city of Dublin, a vibrant EU capital city with all of the cultural, political and industrial opportunities that brings with it.
