The UMC Utrecht offers a wide range of PhD programs. It is one of the largest university medical centers in the Netherlands and a leader in many areas of high quality (biomedical) education and research.

Graduate school of life sciences

All PhD-programs of the UMC Utrecht are part of the Graduate School of Life Sciences. The Graduate School of Life Sciences combines the expertise and education facilities of UMC Utrecht, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Science and the Hubrecht Institute. The Graduate School of Life Sciences offers 15 PhD-programs, which organize thematic courses for their PhD-candidates.

Partners, for example the Hubrecht Institute, can be found at close distance of UMC Utrecht.
