History

After becoming a University College in 2009, the ambition for Leeds Trinity was to achieve full university status. It was only in 2011, when the Government announced that institutions with a minimum 1,000 students (previously 4,000) could apply. In 2012, Leeds Trinity University College became Leeds Trinity University.

Supportive learning network

Overall, really enjoyed my time here. The people that you meet here are amazing, both in lectures and in clubs. I would definitely recommend this university. The subject was good also, constant support throughout. Some of the modules were a little dull but most of them very good.

Friendly, colleague campus feel!

This is a lovely little university if you�re not too bothered about the distance to the city. It feels like being in a US college campus rather than a city one. Lovely staff, great facilities, tho a little far from Leeds centre.

It's been a positive experience so far

Leeds Trinity University us a good place to study. It has a unique campus situated in/near the countryside with good links into Leeds, and the University is growing and adding to it's portfolio all the time. Some of the academic staff are excellent and have world-reaching impact. The facilities vary by subject area, but are always being added to, and the University is investing in areas aligned with the subjects it wants to teach. Overall my experience at this University has been positive, and I compare against two other Universities I previously attended.

Unlike many other universities, we own all our accommodation. This means you'll always be dealing directly with us, not a third party.

The Andrew Kean Learning Centre is home to our Library and IT services and a range of study areas including a 24-hour study space.
The library is open 24/7 during key points throughout the academic year.

Accreditation

Leeds Trinity is an independent Roman Catholic foundation, and until earning the right to award its own degrees in 2009 was accredited by the University of Leeds.
