Education

We challenge students to dare to learn. We take a personal and accessible approach, operating on the conviction that success and adversity are twin catalysts for professional and personal development, for both lecturers and students. Diversity is an asset in this regard.

We offer students an environment in which they dare to learn and gain the confidence to experiment and try things out in a learning community which is located in the heart of society. We give our students the flexibility and resilience that they will need later on in their work: as professionals who are not afraid of change and who can deal with both success and failure. Our approach is personal and accessible, and diversity is our strength.

Review by a 2nd year student

It is a program that challenges you to think differently, and gives you practical experiences, collaborating with existing companies. The lecturers have high experience and knowledge on the topic. There is a good balance between theory and practice, group work and individual.

A decent experience with amazing human connections

The thing I liked most about this program would be the socializing with students and teachers likewise. A lot of pupils are very friendly and graceful people to be around. Improvements can be done on the academic staff. Do not get me wrong, they are qualified for their subjects, but I felt like their English efficiency and lecturing skills of some professors could have been better. However, most of them were very lovely people.

My highlight was the Erasmus exchange

I like that you can choose an English minor with international students, and can even participate in this if you study in your own language. I also like that many projects involve actual partners of the working field.

Housing services

At Inholland University of Applied Sciences we know that finding the right accommodation is very important for our students. Choosing a place to live which suits your needs and budget can be a challenge.

Unfortunately, Inholland cannot guarantee accommodation for our international students. The shortage of student rooms makes finding accommodation very difficult and we advise all students to start looking for accommodation at least 4 months prior to arrival. In some cities, Inholland offers a limited number of rooms for international students.

It is your own responsibility to find a place to live prior to arrival, but we will do our utmost to help you in the process!

Campus life

Selecting a university of applied sciences is not simply a case of finding a degree programme that suits your talents and career choice. It is also about finding a place that makes you feel at home.

Our programmes are spread out over eight campuses across the cultural, political and industrial heart of the Netherlands: the Randstad. These locations are strongly linked but each of them has its own individual character.  Our English bachelor's degrees are taught in Amsterdam/Diemen, Delft, Haarlem and The Hague.

Inholland Diemen has an informal atmosphere with lots of pleasant study rooms.

Student clubs

Inholland contributes to local and international challenges in professional practice. We do this through education and by conducting applied research for professional practice. Leading the way on the themes of sustainability, health and creativity, students and lecturers work on real-life issues from professional practice. They do this in consultation with businesses, not-for-profit organisations and education and research institutions.

Accreditation

Only degrees awarded by the programmes published on this website are recognised by all the authorities in the Netherlands and Flanders.

Internationally, the Qrossroads website lists accredited programmes from European countries. All Inholland programmes are accredited.
