At the International Study Centre we offer programmes for a range of interests from creative arts, to business, sciences and engineering. Each programme introduces you to the UK style of teaching while raising your academic skills, English language level and study skills.
Once you complete your programme and achieve the required grades, you can start your undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey, one of the UK’s most prestigious universities.

CareerAhead will help guide you and provide you with the tools required to succeed after graduation.

From the day you start your programme at the International Study Centre, you are part of the university. You will study and learn, and have access to university facilities such as the Library & Learning Centre, Surrey Sports Park and the Students' Union.
Being an international student means you are part of a wide community of different nationalities. At the International Study Centre we know how to help you adjust to your new environment and make the most of your time in the UK.
Housing services
Staying in University-managed accommodation, you will find it easy to settle in and feel at home when you move to Surrey. Share with students studying different courses, from all over the world. University-managed accommodation is the ideal place to make great new friends.
Choose from our range of self-catered student housing to suit all budgets. Arranged in Courts of Residence, they give you a living space to make your own. You will find them within easy reach of the International Study Centre, whether you get here on foot or by bus.
Campus life
Manor Park is a car-free student village in an area of wonderful natural beauty. Here you will find over 1,800 en-suite rooms, only a twenty minute walk from Stag Hill campus. Manor Park has a cafe and it is easy to get to the Olympic-standard facilities at Surrey Sports Park from here.
Stag Hill campus is the main site, close to all the main campus amenities. Guildford town centre is a ten-minute walk away.
Hazel Farm is only two miles from Stag Hill campus, and a little over three miles away from the International Study Centre. It is an ideal choice if you are looking for a more affordable option. A regular, free bus service takes you to and from campus.
Student clubs
The Student’s Union is an independent, on-campus charity designed to be your representative student voice. In addition to addressing important issues that might affect you, the Students’ Union facilitates clubs and societies, organises student events and offers volunteering opportunities. By getting involved with activities at the Union you can meet new people and gain valuable experience that you could even add to your CV.
