Research
The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau is a research university with international visibility. Top quality research according to the recognized international standards of the respective disciplines is central to the self-image of the TUK. The quality and strength of research in its entire spectrum arise from the disciplines and orientation towards the major socially relevant research topics. The research strategy steers a dynamic process of profiling, largely supported by the research initiative of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Two research centers and six main research areas represent the currently strongest scientific areas of the university.
