Socioinformatics from University of Kaiserslautern-Landau mainly deals with the analysis and modelling of the interaction between society and computer science, the co-evolution of social norms and processes and the supporting software.

Careers

Students are taught to research level in computer science areas. Students who graduate successfully with a master are qualified to do independent further training according to the level of research in the chosen areas. In addition they gain the skills to independently carry out scientific work. Graduates of this course qualify for demanding jobs in economics and can be admitted to do a PhD.

a description of the contents of the courses

a statement including motive for the proposed admittance to the course and an explanation of study goals,

a description of career and personal background with explanations about practical knowledge and experience where necessary,

letters of recommendation from at least 2 university lecturers; the letters of recommendation should include evidence on how well the applicant did in relation to other graduates on the same course,

proof of adequate German and English language skills (e.g. explanations by the candidate or test results such as TOEFL etc.); proof of basic German is particularly important as stated in the enrollment regulations of TU Kaiserslautern.(Institution Codes: TOEFL 7967, GRE 7143)
