Overview
During the first year, students take courses which provide the academic foundation required for the chosen area of specialization. Students can choose from a wide range of specialist and research areas.
There is considerable freedom in choosing the subjects for the study plan and students can select from a number of optional modules. In consultation with the specialists at the department of engineering, students can design the study plan that suits their interests and background.
The Electrical Engineering programme from Aarhus University aims to train research and development engineers with the potential to innovate and research in advanced-technology companies both in Denmark and abroad. Graduates also have the option of continuing their studies at doctoral level. This could be in the form of an industrial PhD.
