About

The Master of Occupational Health and Safety offered by the University of Wollongong have been developed in conjunction with a wide range of industry sectors to address the complex nature of occupational health and safety in the workplace.

The program has a flexible mode of delivery, with online content delivered up front, and block teaching sessions of 3–5 days for exploration and application of subject material. On campus teaching components utilise a range of resources, including the well-equipped OHS Laboratory.

What you will study

The Master of Occupational Health and Safety provides an intensive professional program of study in the area of occupational health and safety. The knowledge and skills you develop throughout the course will be applied to a research-based capstone workplace project in the final stage of the degree program. This will give you a high level of evidence-based professional practice in occupational health and safety.

The Master of Work Health and Safety has been accredited by the Australian Occupational Health & Safety Educators Accreditation Board (AOHSEAB) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) of the UK.
