The aim of the Global Business and Economics study programme at Vilnius University is to prepare highly qualified global business specialists with broad competence and knowledge. It has two focuses: global business management and global business economics. 


Why Global Business and Economics study programme at Vilnius University?

There are three double degree possibilities during the fourth (additional) semester at the Parthenope University of Naples (Italy), at the University of Parma (Italy) or at Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland). 

The graduates of the programme will obtain knowledge in global business management and economics; will better understand cultural, economic, political, legal, scientific and technological global business environments. 

The graduates will be able to find solutions for global business development, to create and develop competitive business, in globalizing conditions; will learn about business culture in diversified regions.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be able to work as managers and experts in international business enterprises, public and nongovernmental organizations that are supporting business infrastructure, research and educational institutions, as well as in other organizations where global business projects are developed and implemented, or to become successful entrepreneurs. They will be able to work in a multicultural environment, to find solutions for business development, and to choose and implement global business strategies.

This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English.

General Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent;
  • No less than 20 ECTS credits in the fields of economics, management and business administration or other social sciences or the acquired analogous practical experience is substantiated in motivation letter and during the interview;
  • English language proficiency – the level not lower than B2 (following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

      VILNIUS UNIVERSITY Tuition Fee Waiver for Full-time Master degree studies

      Tuition waiver will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international non-EU/EEA students applying for Vilnius University Master programmes taught in English or Russian language. This scholarship covers full cost of the tuition fee of the selected Master‘s study programme.

      Monthly scholarship for full-time Master degree studies

      A monthly scholarship is offered for the nationals of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova, Japan, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the State of Israel (10 grants altogether).
