At Translation from the Hellenic American College, combining rigorous translation training with a well-rounded education in translation theory, the Translation program of the Hellenic American College will help you acquire the analytical and technical skills, as well as linguistic and cultural competence that will be asked of you as a professional translator.

General requirements
Evidence of Second Foreign Language (if involved) or Greek Language Proficiency (if the candidate is not a native Greek speaker) for MAT and MACI applicants.
Acceptable forms of evidence include:
- an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution in which the second foreign language is the language of instruction
- equivalent certificate of proficiency for the Greek language (for non-Greek citizens)
- other evidence of proficiency will be reviewed individually
- For the MAT and the MACI programs, following the assessment of the program's director, candidates might be asked to take an entrance exam testing their translation and interpreting competence respectively.
