The International Business (Single Degree) course from Queen's University path enables you to earn a Master of International Business degree in twelve months. Begin your studies at Smith School of Business on Queen's campus and then spend a semester immersed in a new culture at one of our international business school exchange partners. This option provides an excellent foundation for a career in international business.

While in the program, you will have full access to the services of the Smith Career Advancement Centre (CAC). The role of the Centre is to enhance your job search by equipping you with the tools, skills, and information you need to achieve your career goals. The program is structured in three stages, and a major team-based project spans all three. The second stage of the program provides an international exchange at one of our more than 50 international business school partners.

General requirements

A bachelor’s degree in business or any other discipline from an accredited university with an average of B+ (approximately equivalent to 75%) or better in the final two years of their degree.

Official transcripts from each post-secondary institution you have attended

An interview with a member of the admissions committee (completed by phone, Skype or in person).

Official test results from the GMAT, and a English proficiency exam (if either is applicable).

Two references, one of which must be academic.

A cover letter outlining what skills you bring to the program including any international experience (e.g. work, study, volunteer, etc.)

Resumé

A video essay component.
