Overview

After the Public Health program of Mahidol University students will be able to work in various positions in public and private agencies, international organizations.

Strategies:

• strengthening public health research alliance,

• advancing public health in Asia,

• driving clusters for excellence in academic and public health service and

• enhancing quality of human resources and information technology systems

Students can employ a wide range of disciplines and synthesize knowledge with high regard for public health ethics and professionalism. They are able to participate in collaborative efforts to positively change public health and community health, uphold ethical academic and professional conduct and contribute to new research in health promotion, disease control and prevention.

Program Learning Outcomes

• Demonstrate professional integrity and ethics in public health (demonstrate - application level)

• Demonstrate public health knowledge and apply evidence-based public health to manage and develop health systems (recognize - knowledge level)

• Apply research skills and analyze a body of knowledge to recommend technical advice which is consistent with culture and context for solving public health problems at the national and international level (apply - analysis level)

• Work effectively in partnership with experts from different disciplines in the roles of leaders and team players (practice - application level)

• Present skills in applying health information technology properly (operate - analysis level).
