Overview
The MSc Human Resource Management-Development programme at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) meets the requirements of the “Advanced” level of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Students are encouraged to network with practitioner at events hosted by the Institute for Research into Work, Organisations and Employment (iROWE) and local branches of the CIPD.
Learning Environment and Assessment
he MSc experience consists of lectures, seminars, group tasks and activities, simulations and student presentations. Frequent use is made of case study and other student-centred materials. Students are expected to be active participants in the sessions. Groups or individuals may also seek guidance in tutorials with the course leader at the weekly Progress Tutorial.
