Description

The China Ambassador Scholarships are offered to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Awarded on a competitive basis by application to the UCLan China Office, they are delighted to offer six attractive scholarships to students who have completed their prior studies at an institution or organisation within the UCLan G20 grouping.

Benefits

The scholarship is worth 50% tuition fee discount for maximum 3 years.

Eligibility

For entry to undergraduate programmes (except MBBS):

  • Senior High School Graduation Certificate with an average grade of 85% or above or
  • Graded units AA or AAA for SQA AD students or
  • Meet the English requirement for direct entry, i.e. IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5) or equivalent taken within two years prior to your course commencement date
  • AND receipt of a satisfactory application form (see below).
  • AND satisfactory Interview with APT

For entry to postgraduate taught programmes:

  • 4 year bachelor degree with a minimum average of 80% or above or
  • Meet the English requirement for direct entry, i.e. IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5) or equivalent taken within two years prior to your course commencement date
  • AND receipt of a satisfactory application form (see below).
  • AND satisfactory Interview with our China office

This scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis by application to the Asia Partnerships Team. If you meet the criteria, then you can request an application form by email.

The Asia Partnerships Team will start to review applications from 1 June, with a final closing date of 31 August 2026.
