Overview

The Psychology (Conversion) course at Liverpool John Moores University provides graduates from non-psychology backgrounds with a comprehensive grounding in contemporary psychological science and research practice.

Designed and delivered directly by LJMU's School of Psychology, this online master's degree combines academic rigour, flexible online learning, and research-led teaching to prepare you for specialised postgraduate and professional pathways in psychology.

Career paths

The MSc Psychology (Conversion) has been designed to support progression into field-specific postgraduate study, psychology-related careers, and research-informed professional roles.

If you aspire to a career as a Chartered Health Psychologist, studying a degree accredited by the BPS is the first step.

When you graduate, you will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the society. This is an entry requirement for postgraduate courses that meet the requirements of Stage 1 training to become a health psychologist.
