Overview
You will develop essential computing foundations before progressing to advanced topics, including software engineering, cloud computing, cyber security, databases, data analytics and artificial intelligence. Through practical activities and projects, you will gain experience of contemporary computing technologies and develop skills relevant to today's technology-driven workplaces.
The Computer Science (Conversion) programme at Liverpool John Moores University also offers opportunities to combine computing expertise with knowledge from your original discipline, opening up exciting possibilities for interdisciplinary careers and research. An independent Master's dissertation allows you to explore an area of particular interest and apply your newly acquired skills to real-world challenges.
Career paths

Graduates may pursue careers in areas such as software development, data analytics, information systems, cloud computing, cyber security and AI-related applications.
