Overview

Applied Economics from Beihang University strives to make outstanding contribution on the discipline of applied economy, especially in the energy economy, environmental economy, and combining energy and environmental research with economic management theory together as well.

Quick Facts:

• The department has 11 full-time faculty members, including 2 full professors, 3 associate professors, and 6 assistant professors. Nine of them hold PhD degrees and most of them have oversea backgrounds, or international cooperation experiences. One faulty member is supported by National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and also selected into CAS Hundred Talent Program and is a National candidate for New Century BaiQianWan Talents Program. 
• Our research areas focus on energy economy, resource and environmental economy, international economics and trade, energy & environmental policy, energy finance, and trade and environment. The key research centers include Beihang University Laboratory of Energy & Environmental Policy, Research Center for Low-carbon Economy, and Research Center for International Business.
