This fully accredited Masters is suitable for students that have completed an undergraduate degree in both STEM and non-STEM subjects.
With this fully accredited degree, you’ll split your time between studying underpinning theory, learning in our award-winning Allam Medical Building and developing your skills on placement, becoming a qualified midwife when you graduate. You’ll develop the knowledge and confidence to make a difference for mums and their babies at their most vulnerable. And graduate as a qualified midwife.

UK Students on this course can receive a payment of at least £5,000 for each academic year through the NHS Learning Support Fund. The Midwifery programme is offered at University of Hull.

The course combines classroom learning with practical experience so when you graduate, you’ll be a qualified midwife ready to go straight into a professional health setting.

There’s a strong need for qualified midwives so you’ll graduate with skills that are in demand. Our graduates go onto roles in the NHS, as well as overseas or in private practice.
