As a PE student teacher, you will develop into someone who can be responsible for honing pupils' abilities in a range of democratic and lifetime movement activity choices - helping them to develop their movement literacy and important life skills, such as participation, voice, choice, and negotiation skills.
Their state-of-the-art SportsDock facility offers ideal on-site learning facilities in which to develop your teaching skills. But, they also use many of their partner schools to do our practical sessions when we are not in the classroom spaces.
There are three elements to secondary training with us: subject studies, general professional studies and school-based training. It differs from courses offered by other universities in that it is very much subject-based.
