Interior Architecture and Design University of East London

Overview

The way we live is changing rapidly. Changing demographics and the emergence of new technologies are shifting the way in which we use and share spaces. What is the role of design in a world that's changing so quickly? What will the office, library, or store of the future look like?

The Interior Architecture and Design programme offered by University of East London explores those questions in a rigorous and creative way. You will look into the links between everyday life and design practices, and examine the relationship between cultural, social, political, and technological changes. You'll also explore the ways in which interior architecture and design are still evolving to respond to - or challenge - these ideas.

Careers

On the completion of this course, you will have developed both advanced design skills and the experience to develop yourself with advanced creative design methods and processes.

Graduates with an MA in Interior Architecture and Design can work for a range of companies, from interior design studios and architecture firms to retail and hospitality brands. Others find roles with property developers, real estate companies, or exhibition and event design studios, shaping everything from luxury interiors to immersive brand experiences.
