Overview
The Environmental Hazard and Disaster Risk Management at Marche Polytechnic University issues related to environmental degradation and to extreme natural events (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, floods).
Key facts
The course uniqueness is represented by its interdisciplinary features and by the link between scientific, legislative and managerial aspects, which are all necessary for the management of emergencies and environmental protection and recovery. At the end of the course, students will have specific skills in danger, risk and civil protection, in the area of prevention and mitigation of extreme natural events, in the management and planning of emergency, in sustainable development, as well as in the fields of management, conservation and recovery of the environment.

- ssessment of natural and anthropogenic hazards and risks (chemical, geological, climatic, biological, ecological, industrial and fire);
- environmental sustainability and environmental certifications;
- renewable energies;
- environmental legislation and monitoring;
- waste management and environmental remediation;

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
- Statement of Comparability of the diploma issued by CIMEA for Countries outside the Lisbon Recognition Convention or, alternatively, Declaration of value (DoV) issued by the Italian Diplomatic mission (Embassy or Consulate) in the Country in charge of the education system where the diploma has been achieved
- Italian or English language proficiency certificate
- Study Visa for “University enrolment”
- Fiscal Code
- Copy of residence permit request (documents and bill issued by Post office) or copy of original residence permit issued by Questura (police headquarter)
