Overview

Students in Technology and Design (Sustainable Product Design) degree at Singapore University of Technology and Design develop strong technical and digital competencies, with an emphasis on reducing environmental impact and supporting circular economy practices, through topics such as Digital Manufacturing and Product Representation, Manufacturing and Assembly.

One-year full-time programme

The one-year programme culminates in a 2-term Design Project, where students apply their accumulated knowledge to a real-world, sustainability-focused design challenge, progressing from discovery and ideation to prototyping and realisation. Graduates emerge with the knowledge and skills to lead sustainable product innovation and create solutions that are economically viable, environmentally responsible and socially impactful.

At least a bachelor’s degree in technology, including degrees in Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences;
Students whose language of instruction during undergraduate study is not English are required to present TOEFL-iBT (min. 85) or IELTS (min. 6.0) score report;
Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis;
Related job experiences will be considered for admission.
