- At least a bachelor’s degree in a closely related discipline including Engineering (Electronics, Optoelectronics, Materials), Physics, and Materials Science;
- Foundational knowledge in the following would be advantageous but not necessary:
- Electromagnetics and wave optics
- Linear algebra and calculus
- Basic programming (e.g. Python or MATLAB)
- Laboratory experience in optics, electronics, or nanofabrication is advantageous;
- Students whose language of instruction during undergraduate study is not English are required to present TOEFL-iBT (min. 85) or IELTS Academic (min. 6.0) score report;
- Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis*;
- Related job experiences will be considered for admission.
