General requirements

A degree of BS as per HEC curriculum. Students with 16 years of education in following domains (Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Statistics, or Mathematics) are eligible.
The following core courses are required to be completed before entering the MS(DS) programme:
Programming Fundamentals (Core Programming Course)
Data Structures & Algorithms OR Design & Analysis of Algorithms
Database Systems
At least 2.0 CGPA (on a scale of 4.0) or 60% marks in BS or equivalent degree from any recognised institute in the relevant subject.
Candidate must have qualified the UOL Entry Test / GAT General, with a passing score of 50%.
