In an increasingly interdependent world where legal boundaries are becoming more porous and the response to complex problems requires multi-level solutions, only legal professionals capable of articulating different legal systems will be adequately prepared to rigorously face the theoretical and practical challenges related to the promotion and protection of human rights and the construction of sustainable development models.

This Law - Human Rights and Sustainability degree from Universidade Nova de Lisboa promotes specialization focused on a critical understanding of law in a transnational context and includes a strong practical dimension. Through activities applying law to concrete situations – such as human rights advocacy and moot courts – students develop legal argumentation and drafting skills as well as professional intervention skills.
