General requirements
- Applicants for the program must meet general and specific requirements to be admitted. General requirements include adhering to Addis Ababa University’s affirmative action policies, providing an equivalence letter for degrees obtained abroad, and fulfilling all other university admission criteria.
- Specific requirements include holding a first degree from an accredited institution in relevant fields, having a minimum overall CGPA of 2.50 and 2.75 in the major on a 4.00 scale, submitting two recommendation letters, a two-page letter of intent, and preferably having work experience in food security and development.
- Additionally, candidates must pass selection tests and the Graduate Admission Test (GAT)
