Description

This mixed-mode Agronomy programme from MARA Technological University consists of 70% research and 30% taught courses. The core courses of this programme are Plant Ecophysiology, Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer Technology, and Research Dissertation I and II. One more course will be chosen from any of the three elective courses: Transformation in Crop Production Technology, Crop Improvement and Conservation, and Microbiological Processes in Soils.

A Bachelor’s degree in plantation or related fields or equivalent from any recognized institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the UiTM Senate; OR

A Bachelor’s degree in plantation/agriculture or its equivalent from any recognized institution with a CGPA of at least 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR

A Bachelor’s degree in the related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field and rigorous internal assessment; OR
Candidates without related qualification in the field/s or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the faculty and meet the minimum CGPA
