Description

The Information Science (Research) program from MARA Technological University provides students with the knowledge and skills to conduct quality research in various aspects of information management. Research methodology and thesis writing courses are also provided to assist students in their research work. At the end of the program, students are required to produce a thesis on a topic of their choice, related to the fields of Information Management, Library Management, Knowledge Management, or Records Management.

Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in any related field of study from UiTM and other institutions of higher learning, local or abroad, recognized by the UiTM Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 OR

Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in any related field of study from another institution of higher learning, local or abroad, recognized by the UiTM Senate with a minimum of CGPA of 2.50 AND at least 5 years of related working experience OR
Other qualifications equivalent to Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in any relevant fields and recognized by the UiTM Senate will be considered for admission Candidates without qualification or working experience in related business and management areas must undergo and pass the prerequisite courses determined by the Faculty and meet the minimum CGPA
