The degree will be offered to students with a prior NQF level 8 qualification or international equivalent. Typical previous programmes that would be admitted are:
- A four-year B Eng degree (any discipline), OR
- A four-year BSc degree (any discipline), OR
- Any four-year degree (or three-year and honours degree) with either computer science, mathematics, applied mathematics or similar analytical modules as a major will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
