The distinguished faculty of ECUPL has extensive teaching and research experience. The Chinese Law Program helps international students overcome the language barrier and meets the increasing demands of international students for Chinese legal education.
Program Goals and Features
The International Economic Law degree from East China University of Political Science and Law awards a Master's degree in law and provides opportunity of internship in the fields of international investment, international trade, or relevant Chinese law to promote students' abilities in dealing with legal issues concerning trade and investment in or with China.
The primary focus of the program is on international law, the economic law of China, and Chinese legal practice. More internship in top law firm provided by cooperating with Shanghai Lawyer Association. After graduation, students can enter into legal practice involving China and international trade, or choose to apply for a doctoral degree in law.

- Non-Chinese citizens; physically and mentally healthy; no more than 45 old before September.
- Obtain a bachelor's degree or higher and have at least three years of work experience; have some educational or professional experience related to the major you are applying for.
- Work in a government agency, company or research institute, hold an important position or have strong capabilities in scientific research.
- Have good English communication skills and be able to understand the content of English courses. Non-native English speakers should submit an English test report.
- Have strong development potential in their own field and be willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation between China and their country.
