Overview
Launched in Fall 2023 by five NUST institutes—SINES, USPCAS&E, SCEE, ASAB, and S3H—the Climate Change and Sustainable Development program from National University of Sciences and Technology aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to combat biodiversity loss, energy crises, and water scarcity. By promoting innovation and collaboration, the program equips graduates to drive transformative change and shape a sustainable future.
Curriculam & Research
The CCSD program offers MS and PhD degrees with a comprehensive curriculum blending core courses and specialized electives. This multidisciplinary approach integrates environmental, social, and economic dimensions, preparing students to address complex sustainability issues.

General requirements
- Sixteen years of schooling or 4 years education after HSSC/A’ Level in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2 out of 4.0 OR 55% marks. Percentage will only be considered if CGPA is not mentioned on the transcript.
- GAT (General) by NTS with at least 50 accumulative test score or
- Graduate NUST Entry Test (GNET) conducted by NUST with at least 50 accumulative test score or
- Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) conducted by HEC with at least 50 accumulative test score
