Overview
From the first to third year at the Department of Chemistry at Kobe University , the curriculum focuses on lectures in fundamental subjects such as physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, combined with practical exercises to allow ample time for deepening understanding.
Key Facts
Furthermore, chemistry experiments allow students to learn techniques for handling chemical substances, directly observe and analyze real-world chemical phenomena, deepening their understanding of the knowledge gained in lectures and developing a sense for materials.
In the fourth year, students join a research laboratory to conduct special research. Here, by participating in cutting-edge research conducted in the three educational and research fields of physical chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry (as described in the "Research Content" section), students can acquire more advanced specialized knowledge and research techniques.Programme Structure
