Overview
Simultaneously, a curriculum is provided that encourages students to conduct fundamental experiments independently. In their fourth year, through their graduation research, students learn about the many unsolved problems and tackle one of them.
Key facts
In the Graduate School of Science's Department of Physics at Kobe University, students learn more advanced topics through lectures and seminars, conducting research aimed at solving unsolved problems or making new discoveries. To this end, they collaborate with researchers at on-campus research centers and large-scale experimental facilities both domestically and internationally.
The Department of Physics and the Major in Physics welcome not only students aiming to become physics researchers, but also those who aspire to work in engineering or other related fields. The logical thinking and problem-solving skills acquired through physics will be valuable in a wide range of fields.
