Overview
The Management in Finance (MMF) programme from McGill Luxembourg Centre for Finance was made possible through a strategic partnership between McGill University and the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, the Luxembourg Banker´s Association (ABBL), the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), and is supported by the Chambre de Commerce.
Key Facts
- The MMF is a 24-month-long programme
- Face-to-face classes take place twice a month on Fridays and Saturdays (2 courses per semester) with some online components on Wednesday evenings
- Students are required to earn 45 American credits in order to graduate from the programme
- Practice oriented, students will manage a real investment fund through McGill’s Desautels Capital Management, Canada’s first student-run investment firm
- Focused on Career and Employability, students will benefit from personalized career coaching through career services
- Studying with McGill in Luxembourg, means becoming part of a global community of over 325,000 McGill alumni based in more than 185 countries around the world. In Luxembourg, many events will be organized with Alumni and CEOs in order for Students to network with top level directors and managers.
- Small class sizes: one class contains on average 15-20 students, facilitating individualized learning experience and one-on-one faculty and alumni mentoring
- All courses are taught in English by McGill faculty in Luxembourg

General requirements
- An undergraduate-bachelor degree from a recognized college or university with a minimum of 180 ECTS.
- Optional GMAT: the GMAT requirement may be waived if you can demonstrate strong quantitative skills through your academic background from a recognized university and/or work experience.
- Fluency in English. If English is not your native language and you haven't completed a degree at an English-speaking country, you must take either the TOEFL or IELTS
