General requirements
- You should have a bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent, typically a high 2:2 or above. To apply for this course, you should hold an undergraduate degree in psychology, and it must be recognised by the British Psychological Society as providing Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC). We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of suitability for the programme.
- Provide a personal statement (maximum 500 words).
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of health psychology and explain why you want to study this course, including the skills and interests you hope to develop.
- Outline your research experience, including dissertation work or research posts, and describe the skills and knowledge gained.
- Describe any relevant practical experience in health psychology or related fields and what you learned from it.
