The Master in International Management – CEMS at University of the Andes, School of Management is a globally recognized programme designed to develop the next generation of international business leaders. As part of the prestigious CEMS Global Alliance, students become part of a network of more than 30 top business schools, over 70 multinational corporate and social partners worldwide and more than 20.000 students and alumni.
The programme combines rigorous academic training with strong international exposure and practical experience. It is structured around two academic semesters and a professional experience.
Students complete one semester at Universidad de los Andes, where they build a strong foundation in international management, global strategy, responsible leadership, sustainability, and intercultural collaboration through courses taught entirely in English.

During the second semester, students participate in an international exchange at another CEMS partner school (such as Bocconi, HEC París, Cornell, LSE, etc), allowing them to experience different business environments, cultures, and academic perspectives while collaborating with peers from across the global CEMS network.The programme concludes with an international internship or first professional experience, enabling students to apply their knowledge in real organizational contexts and strengthen their professional profile within a global business environment.

Programme Structure
- Students begin with a semester at Universidad de los Andes, where they complete core courses in international management, Global Strategy, Global Strategy Project, Block Seminar, Skill Seminars and Business electives of your choice.
- In the second semester, students participate in an international exchange at one of the 30+ CEMS partner business schools worldwide (such as Cornell, LSE, ESADE, Bocconi, LSE, etc), gaining exposure to different business environments and collaborating with multicultural teams.
- Throughout the programme, students engage in experiential learning through real-world projects with corporate partners, case-based courses, and skill seminars designed to strengthen leadership and intercultural competencies.
- The programme concludes with a mandatory international internship or first professional experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge in a global business context and have a real experience in an organization.

Additional Details
- Total tuition: COP 92,500,000.
- Payment schedule: 5% upon admission confirmation, 40% first semester, 45% second semester, 10% internship/first job phase.

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
- Applicants through this portal may be eligible for up to 20% financial aid on the total tuition fee. To apply, candidates must submit an application letter demonstrating active participation in extracurricular activities such as student groups, volunteering, sports, or teaching assistantships, including evidence of their involvement and achievements.
- Applicants must also provide two letters of recommendation from professors, with at least one from a full-time faculty member of their undergraduate institution. Additionally, candidates must submit a short essay answering the question: “What can I contribute to my MIM-CEMS peers both in Colombia and during the exchange?”
