Overview
The Laws program from University of Southern Queensland is designed to build upon legal knowledge gained at the Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Juris Doctor levels, the Master of Laws gives you the opportunity to write a law research project on a topic of your choice, under the guidance of an expert supervisor.
Features
- Benefit from a suite of innovative and topical legal specialist postgraduate courses. Choose from five specialisations that reflect areas of in-need legal practice: Commercial Law, Family Law, Legal Practice or Public Law.
- Complete two core courses focused on research skills, four electives from your chosen specialisation, as well as one additional elective from an area of interest such as advanced taxation law, international humanitarian law, or advanced criminology, to name a few.
- Complete your degree in one year when studying full-time or two years part-time. Choose from three different start times throughout the year and take advantage of options to fast-track your study.
