Overview
Diagnostic Genomics at Queensland University of Technology is delivered online and is open to international students. However, this course does not qualify for the purposes of obtaining an Australian government student visa. Career:
This course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge to confidently explain the genetic testing process to patients, select optimal genetic tests and explain results. A high level of genetic expertise is beneficial as this is being increasingly looked for by employers in the field. Clinicians will also develop the necessary knowledge to initiate a collaboration with a genetics research group.
