Applicants may qualify without an undergraduate degree if they have successfully completed a minimum of a two-year, recognized vocational training programme in Germany, accompanied by several years of relevant professional experience. This requires passing the ToU IMBA Entrance Exam.

The vocational training must result in a diploma or degree, typically earned over two or three years, and demonstrate a focus on preparing for a specific trade or professional career. Short-term certifications or one-year training programmes do not qualify.
