General requirements

Undergraduate degree in Byzantine Language and Literature, History, Archaeology, History of Art, Classical Studies or a related field with a degree of First or Upper Second Class.

In addition to Greek, satisfactory knowledge of one other language from the remaining five international languages of Byzantine Studies (English, French, German, Italian and Russian); for non-Greek speakers, in addition to the mother tongue, knowledge of English.
