Overview

When you study the specialisation in Power-to-X systems (PtX), you will learn to design and model the production process for green fuels such as hydrogen, e-methanol and others. You will work with sustainable energy technologies such as carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS), electrolysis and methanation. The courses cover topics such as fluid mechanics, CFD, chemical reactors and process simulation.

The Power-to-X Systems programme from Aalborg University will give you the ability to design equipment and construct systems for the production of green fuels, and to work with technologies that drive the green transition.
