The Faculty of Central European Studies is the youngest faculty of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The faculty was established in 2003 with the intention to continue the long-lasting tradition of training primary and secondary school teachers in Hungarian language.

The effort of the faculty is also focused on the preparation of the specialists in the field of culture, public administration, regional policy, economy and tourism, who are able to support the development of our regions.

General requirements

The basic requirement for admission to the study programmes of the second degree pursuant to Section 53 (1) of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on higher education and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts is a first-degree university degree or a second-degree university degree, while the number of credits obtained for the previous higher education study leading to the higher education degree must be at least 180 credits.

Mandatory attachments to the application form are: CV, a motivation letter, for applicants who completed their bachelor's degree before the academic year of application - certified copies of the diploma and the supplement to the diploma of completion of the bachelor's study programme.
