The graduate will be awarded the academic title of Master of Science (abbreviated MSc.). The documents of completion of the study (diploma and diploma supplement) will be issued by all three cooperating universities.

The graduate of this International Master of Horticulture Science programme from Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra will acquire comprehensive knowledge of horticultural production. He/she masters new cultivation technologies in vegetable growing, floriculture, fruit growing and viticulture, including integrated and ecological systems of fruit, vegetable, grape and wine production with an emphasis on the quality of raw material production and subsequent post-harvest processing and storage. He/she masters the process of grape processing and wine production with an emphasis on high-quality attributive wines. He/she is able to independently solve problems in the field of research in connection with the requirements of the institution. He can manage the production and sales process, enter into joint projects at the level of EU requirements. He manages the production and marketing process at a high professional level.

- As a specialist in all forms of horticultural production and related processing units, in marketing, in trade, in research and breeding, in the testing laboratories of the Central Control Testing Institute of Agriculture, as well as as a manager of horticultural centers, greenhouse farms, designer of orchards, vineyards and nurseries. He finds employment as a chief cellar technologist in small, medium and large wineries. He provides consultancy for horticultural production, acts as an advisor for the establishment and operation of orchards, vineyards, cellar farming, vegetable plantations and fruit and vineyard nurseries. He finds employment in the private sector, in education, in state administration, etc. He can also continue his studies at the 3rd level.
