Overview
The programme is offered as a collaboration between 3 leading universities in the field:
- Aarhus University (AU) in Denmark
- Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté (UBFC) in France
- Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK) in Germany
As a student in this programme, you will spend the first semester at UBFC in France. In the second semester you can choose between specialisations in Photonics (UBFC, France) or Many-Body Quantum Physics ( (TUK, Germany). In the third semester, you can further specialise in Integrated Quantum Optics (TUK, Germany) or Platforms for Quantum Technologies (AU, Denmark).
The final semester is dedicated to your master's thesis, which can be carried out at any of the three universities or associated partners. QuanTEEM addresses global challenges in energy, materials, health, security, and the environment by combining physics, materials science, and computer science. The programme prepares you to become a highly skilled quantum engineer with the expertise to contribute to both academic research and technological innovation.
