Overview
The Educational Studies course from Thompson Rivers University students who meet English language requirements, but require academic upgrading, will be required to complete three GCES graduate courses prior to admission in TRU’s MEd programme.
This programme is eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and aligns with IRCC’s updated list of eligible fields of study (CIP Code: 13.0101). Please consult the IRCC website for the latest information.

Students wishing to upgrade their GPA in order to ease the transition to TRU’s MEd programme may also choose the GCES programme.
