Overview

This Economics program from Beirut Arab University emphasizes both theory and research, preparing students to apply appropriate theoretical and methodological tools to solve specific economic problems. A Bachelor's degree from a university recognized by BAU with a minimum CGPA of “3.00” for the credit-hour system and its equivalent (80%) for the grading system (with a certificate equivalency from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education). Note: The Faculty of Business Administration reviews the admission files of candidates holding bachelor’s degrees from universities that follow a grading system different from that of BAU, in accordance with the criteria set by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
