Overview

The MSc. programme in Business Administration from British University in Egypt aims to offer specialised education which corresponds to what is offered in the British Universities. The programme focuses on teaching scientific advanced modules and academic research in Business Administration, as well as specialised studies in research methods and quantitative analysis methods. The programme offers three specialisations.

Programme Objectives

The MSc. programme aims to help students understand the theories and main concepts of Business Administration in general and particularly in their area of specialisation. Students will learn how to use the different sources of data and evaluate critically the theories and concepts in their specialisations. They will also be able to apply the qualitative and quantitative methods to solve specific research problems and present the scientific results in an academic format. The programme will enable students to analyse, synthesise, plan, execute and solve problems relevant to the business and management problems faced in today’s world.

General requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Hold a degree that must be from a university accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities.
Supplementary undergraduate modules may be required from other disciplines.
Hold a minimum grade of C+ or GPA of 2.3.
Pass the IELTS with a minimum score of (6.5) or TOEFL (Score 550) or TOEFL IBT (Score 60-78).
(Graduates of BUE and other overseas universities operating in countries where the native language is English are exempted from the placement test).
Non-Egyptian students must provide evidence that they have been granted permission to stay in Egypt for a minimum of two years.
Non-business school graduates must attend non-credit free short courses provided by the BUE as a means of qualifying them for the MSc. degree requirements.
